We want YOU to run for office!

Are you tired of government of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations?

Are you concerned about our economic meltdown, global warming, and loss of freedoms?

Are you outraged by corrupt politicians who won’t respond to the challenges facing us?

Are you seeking a real alternative to “the lesser of two evils”?

Are you looking for a populist champion?

Maybe it’s time you looked in the mirror!

The Green Party of Colorado has permanent ballot status, so we can run candidates for county, state and federal offices.  If you meet the qualifications, and gain endorsement by your local or state party, you can run for County Commissioner, Judge, District Attorney, State Board of Education, State Representative, State Senate, U.S. Congress, or even President.

To run for office as a Colorado Green, you cannot be registered to vote in any other party, and must be registered as a Green at least two months prior to our state nominating convention, which will take place between March 31 and April 14. You must announce your intention to run to your local party chair or a state co-chair at least 45 days before the convention. That means registering Green by January 31 (to be safe) and contacting your party chair by Feb. 15.
