The 2013 State Meeting of the Green Party of Colorado will take place among the peaks and plateaus of San Miguel County in the southwest corner of the state in late spring or early summer. The annual meeting location for the state meeting, where the party discusses and decides on candidates, rules and and platforms, was approved at the 2012 State Meeting and Nominating Convention in Carbondale, Colo. The 2012 meeting participants on March 31 also picked the party’s slate of candidates across Colorado:

– Gary Swing: Running for US Congress in District 1

– Susan Hall: Running for US Congress in District 2

– Misha Luzov: Running for US Congress in District 5

– Victor Forsythe: Running for State Congress in District 5

– Karyna Lemus: Running for El Paso County Commissioner 2

– Steve Saint: Running for El Paso County Commissioner 4

– Steve Schechter: Running for Gunnison County Commissioner 1

Colorado also voted on the state’s pick for the U.S. Presidential Green Nominee, with the decision to split the state’s votes among the three candidates:
Jill Stein = 5 delegates
Roseanne Barr = 1 delegate
Ken Mesplay = 1 delegate
