The Green Party of Colorado is issuing a Call for Nominations for state party offices for the August 2019 state meeting to be held virtually (separate announcement to come). The state council will be voting on the date and time as of this post,
The state party offices open for nominations are: 2 co-chairs, 1 secretary, 1 treasurer, 2 National Committee to GPUS delegates. NOTE: per precedent set by Bill Bartlett, the chairs will appoint a forum facilitator, as this is not an elected state officer position listed in the bylaws.

Nominees must have been registered as a Green for at least 6 months, be a member in good standing of their active local chapter, and accept the 10 Key Values and GPCO bylaws.
Nominations must be submitted by email to the GPCO secretary at sean.m.friend@gmail.com and posted on the council General Discussion forum within 24 hours of receipt, including a description of the position as delineated in the GPCO bylaws or Procedures and Guidelines, as applicable. Nominations will also be accepted as Replies to this post.
The deadline for all nominations is 9 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017, to give potential voters opportunity to get to know candidates. The official Call for Nominations will also be posted on the GPCO website and social media and/or email lists, as well as distributed to each chapter for dissemination.
