Tanya Ishikawa, a registered Green from the Adams-Jefferson (County) Greens, appeared to have won her Ward 1 seat on Federal Heights City Council, according to unofficial results from Adams County as of 8:11 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, Nov. 1. She was elected with 67 percent of the vote, with the other candidate receiving 33 percent. The swearing in ceremony for new council members is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Federal Heights City Hall.
