Organizational Meeting of the Boulder/Gilpin chapter of the Green Party of Colorado at the Geroge Reynolds Branch of the Boulder Public Library on Thursday, January 20th, at 7:00 p.m. The address is 3595 Table Mesa Drive (just west of Broadway or Hwy. 93 on Table Mesa). A map is available at boulderlibrary.org. We hope to have a good turnout and approve bylaws and
elect officers so that we may be recognized by the GPOC as an official local chapter. The meeting is open to all Greens or anyone who has ian nterest in getting involved with the Green Party.
Let’s get this party growing!

I am conflicted. At the very same time that the local green party chapter is meeting at the library the CU visual arts complex is hosting an exhibition at 7:30. There is also an opening at Naropa’s Nalanda campus from 6:00- 8:00. Both covering matters that this party would consider important.
I was not able to get to the organizational meeting, but would like to be put on a mailing list. It is a great idea to have a Boulder chapter. The GP needs some better ideas about fighting the system which limits the ability of third parties to participate. The Democrats have abandoned the ideals that they used to stand for, and this president does not support them. The corporate media also discourages third parties by ridicule unless they provide sensationalism and ratings. I watched them destroy the campaign of Ralph Nader. So, keep us informed of the progress of this chapter.
Thanks,

Hi, M. Stockwell,
Thank you so much for your comment. Here’s some info from a note that will go up on our website soon about the successful meeting:
“I came away with the feeling that Boulder is indeed fertile ground for the
