The Green Party of Colorado will hold elections for several state-level offices (all volunteer) at the annual state meeting, Saturday, June 25. The positions that will require candidates are:
Co-chair (2)
Secretary (1)
Treasurer (1)
National Delegates (3)
Council Facilitator (1)
E-list Moderator (1)
If you are interested in any of these positions, you can find information on the requirements of each in the bylaws and P&G found at these links:
(You might try doing a Find command with the position title to more quickly reach the areas of each document concerning that position.)
Though you may announce your intention to seek nomination as a candidate for these positions at the meeting, it is also helpful if you can inform the State Council or a state officer (https://www.coloradogreenparty.org/contacts/) in advance of the meeting. We can answer questions about the positions, the elections and other issues. Also, we can share your prospective candidacy information, and any message you may have about your plans in that position, with the State Council so we know you better before the state meeting.
Currently, the following people have already announced their intentions to run for these positions:
Co-chair (Art Goodtimes, Tanya Ishikawa)
Secretary (Eric Fried)
Treasurer (Dan Sage)
National Delegates
Council Facilitator (Tom Kelly)
E-list Moderator (Charlie Green)
We encourage other registered Greens residing in Colorado to seek nomination and volunteer to volunteer for these important positions.
