3. Text of the actual Proposal:
That the Colorado Green Party would be listed as a sponsor for said event
4. Background: See email and background and more information.
5. Justification/Goals: To further our grass roots participation in local events and show solidarity with other groups including RMPJC, IVAW, , ISO, AFSC, Veterans for Peace, Fight with Tools, Citizens for Peace in Space, and Alterni-Tees.
6. Pros: See above. Also, the sponsoring group is a large student group in Boulder. By aligning with this group it could increase our member base with the youth population. This is an area for potential of new and younger Greens.
Cons: May be perceived by some as activism and therefore not worth the time. One of the days of the event is our meeting in Evergreen so we would not be able to participate on that day, but our name would still be listed.
