On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, we come together to honor the lives lost to anti-transgender violence. However, remembrance alone is not enough.
We must renew our commitment to each other as coworkers, neighbors, friends, and family to advocate for justice, educate ourselves and those around us, and foster safe spaces for everyone.
By using our voices, exercising our right to vote, and standing up for the dignity of others, we can continue to combat the systemic issues that lead to this violence.
Never forget that your voice is powerful—let it be a force for love, acceptance, and equality in our world.
