The State Council of the Green Party of Colorado approved position statements on the Ballot Measures, Amendments and Propositions on the 2010 Colorado State Ballot.

The Green Party of Colorado recommends the following votes during this election.

Amendments:

Yes on P (Transfers the licensing of games of chance from theDepartment of State to the Department of Revenue)

Yes on Q (Process for moving the state seat to a temporary location during a declared disaster emergency)

No on R (Eliminate property taxes for individuals or businesses that use government-owned property for a private benefit)

No on 60 (Proposes reducing property taxes)

No on 61 (Forbids debt by loan in any form)

No on 62 (Applies the term ‘person’ to every human being from the beginning of biological development)

No on 63 (Protect the individual’s right to make health care decisions)

Propositions:

No on 101 (Makes amendments to current vehicle, income and telecommunications taxes and fees)

No on 102 (Amends the criteria for setting bail and type of bond)
